D-Limiter-9527 handles the final few decibels of a master. It looks ahead for peaks while following the longer shape of the programme, so an isolated kick does not have to pull the whole mix down and sustained limiting can recover with musical continuity. Modern, Safe, Punch and Dynamic offer different transient and recovery behaviours. Selectable 1x-32x main-path oversampling, a separate 8x true-peak safety stage and full metering keep the cost of extra level visible.
